A tiny sapling that sprang out for the last day's rain
with a dusky green colour, waving hither and thither
with the breeze, tilted its tiny head to ask me:Hey
beautiful, shall I reside in your haven?
Flabbergasted and startled and hesitant, I gave
the little space it needed, with a promise not to tug it away.
Merrily she advanced, swore to make my lone mind gay.
Morning, noon and evening she welcomed me to her heaven.
A heap of mud, handful of water and shaded light
I poured my love, hiding though
spake as if I don't care for her existence
yet going rounds with her, talking and laughing.
Rained further and I wake up to see her
tilting her neck and hands to stretch out
to another friend short and handsome . Waved at me again
to ask for enough space for her comrade.
Hurt and forlorn, I smiled at them
wishing them a grand good life together
right in front of my eyes.
Reading and writing is my passion. Philosophy, gender, Fiction, Mystery,Education, Thriller,I prefer these genres. But I must admit I am not a prolific writer. Just that I want to express and feel myself. Honest comments are heartily welcome.
