The Anchor I Lost

Embarking upon my adventurous voyage,

I met a tragic hero called Ulysses,

He asked me:’ Why are you travelling the seas, like me?

I had to , for Penelope and Telemachus,

And for Troy…don’t get trapped in the land of Lotus Eaters,

You will be blown off into the island of Cyclops,

Don’t, if you’re sure you’ll get a big bag of winds,

Then forward….’ I gasped a while to answer him,

‘Dear Greek Hero, You have already waged your war

While I am facing a strong force of winds ,

So powerful that it took me to the shore,

Before I set to sail , passing the undercurrents,

I came this long and found you, you my Hero,

I am sure to succeed until I find an anchor,

Which I lost while young, with which I moored

My vessel, realized to be the anchor of my life,

Must find it surpassing agonies, for,

I’m strangely in love with it!’

Reading and writing is my passion. Philosophy, gender, Fiction, Mystery,Education, Thriller,I prefer these genres. But I must admit I am not a prolific writer. Just that I want to express and feel myself. Honest comments are heartily welcome.
